No. The Serch Trust Score is strictly algorithmic and merit-based. You cannot purchase a higher score or badge. It must be earned through verified credentials and quality performance.
What happens if I receive an unfair review?
We have a rigorous dispute resolution process. If a review is found to be fraudulent or in violation of our terms of service, it is removed and the score is recalculated accordingly.
Does canceling a booking negatively impact my score?
Yes. Frequent cancellations indicate unreliability and will lower your Booking Score over time. However, rare, necessary cancellations have a minimal impact compared to your overall completion rate.
How does inactivity affect my Trust Score?
To ensure the marketplace remains active and reliable, providers who do not complete a booking or accept requests for an extended period (typically 90 days) will experience a small, gradual decay in their Trust Score until they return to active status.
Why did my score drop even though I didn't do anything wrong?
Your score can naturally decay slightly due to prolonged inactivity. Additionally, if a previously verified license or permit expires and is not renewed, your Verification Score will decrease until you provide updated documentation.
What happens if I receive a safety dispute?
Safety is our top priority. If a customer files a severe safety dispute, your score will immediately incur a heavy penalty and your profile may be temporarily suspended pending an internal investigation by our Trust & Safety team.
Is the Trust Score the same as my review rating?
No. While your customer review rating (1 to 5 stars) makes up a portion of your Trust Score, the full score also considers your background verification status, booking completion rates, and responsiveness. This provides a more comprehensive view of a provider's reliability.
